Marine Exact – system functions and characteristics

The system consists of a local control panel, the so-called Ball with DCU controller see SL .1 and remote panel IV8. The panels are interconnected with the CAN communication network. Start/Stop engines can be performed from the local DCU panel, remote IV-8 panel and remote keys mounted on the control console in the steering room and on the open bridge. Sensors connect directly to the DCU controller that performs alarm and extinguishing processing.

System and monitoring functions

ANALOG SIGNALS

1. Engine rotation (Hz)
2. Lubricating oil pressure (4-20mA)
3. Cooling fluid temperature (Pt1000)
4. Exhaust gas temperature (NiCr)
5. Pressure of reducer oil( 4-20mA)
6. Temperature of reducer oil( Pt-1000)
7. Battery power voltage
8. Etc...

ADDITIONAL SECURITY FEATURES
To ensurethe safe operation of the system ALONG the remote panel IV-8 through which it is possible to perform all necessary activities related to engine operation, we added the following additional functionsthat are independent of the panel:
1. Remote engine start

2. Remote engine stop
3. Engine emergency extinguishing
4. Overriding engine protection extinguishing

DIGITAL SIGNALS

1. Low lubricating oil pressure
2. High temperature of the cooling liquid
3. Low pressure of the control oil reducer
4. Leakage of high pressure pipes
5. Low levels of the cooling fluid
6. Etc...

REMOTE CONTROL PANEL - STEERING WHEEL

The remote control panel consists of the following components:

  1. Key- we turn on/off the entire monitoring system
  2. START button-turn on the engine
  3. STOP button-turn off the engine
  4. Emergency switch
  5. Overriding protection switch
  6. Remote control panel IV-8

Long-term and short-term
engine parameters monitoring

The system has the possibility of long-term and short-term monitoring of all engine parameters. The recording of parameters may be on the internal panel memory or the external USB memory and the remote monitoring of engine parameters. EXCEL can later process parameters to determine the engine's state and facilitate possible planning of repairs and maintenance.
